Test Details
A brief synopsis of the various tests are shown below:
- Function and Load
- Ensure the device is functioning correctly, and is not overloading
- Formal Visual Inspection
- Checking for any visible defects
- Earth Bond Testing
- Ensure that the safety earthing circuit is complete
- Insulation Resistance
- Ensure that the insulation of the device/cable has not deteriorated
or defective
- Earth Leakage
- Ensure that there is no leakage of electrical current in or from the
device to earth
- Microwave Radiation Leakage
- Ensure that there is no dangerous radiation leakage from the
operating microwave.
- Industry Specific Testing
- Customised to equipment requirements.
- Fuse/Plug Testing and Replacement
- Ensure that the fuse is secure and ok, and that plug wiring is secure.
Replacement if required.
